HELGA!! She's our 1978 Airstream Argosy who is aptly called the Scandinavian name for "Faith", since she tests our faith daily as we prepare her 27-year-old systems to sustain us for the journey ahead.

As most of you know, we are travelling to Los Angeles in 1 week to start a 12-month adventure before Mike enters law school at Regent University (Virginia Beach) in the fall of 2006. What many of you don't know is that during this adventure out west we will be living in a motorhome (yes, a 24-foot home on wheels!!) We've created this blog so that family, friends, and anyone else who wants can follow our cross-country story as it unfolds. We’ll be posting updates on our journey along with some pictures, so make a note of this website and stop by anytime. Although leaving Nashville is bittersweet since we have grown to love it here, we are thrilled about turning the pages in this new chapter in our lives and look forward to seeing where our adventures lead.

To catch you up to speed, we've included answers to FAQs...
-Yes, we have the motorhome – we bought it from a friend of Adrienne's dad in Texas.
-Yes, we'll both get jobs in LA once we get out there.
-Yes, we're taking both cars – arranging for one to be driven out there before we arrive, towing the other behind the RV.
-Yes, our 15-year old cat Macey will be included in this RV journey – pray for her! :-)
-Yes, we sold our house (first day on the market)!!
-Yes, all of our stuff will be waiting for us in storage here in Nashville when we come back through next summer on our way to Virginia.
-No, we have no idea how this will all work out – it's a complete leap of faith!! :-)
